Glossybox USA - June 2012 review

Hello y'all..
How are you liking the daily posting so far? Its been so quiet since I've been back. Give me a holler and show me you are all still here! I'm very excited to review my first ever GlossyBox USA. Its a monthly subscription service for $23 and they promise 5 deluxe samples and mostly one of them would be full size.

So without further ado, lets jump right in.
First off, this show-off by Beauty addicts mascara. Its a thick dry formula with a curved wand that lengthens more than volumizes. I'm not really into lengthening my lashes to the extent that they start leaving smears on my sunglasses. Its still a good basic mascara though. Lasted all day. Whats awesome is that this is a full size product so I'm really happy that I got back my $20. Would I have bought this mascara for $20 though? Not really.
Also glossy box says it has ARGON oil in it. I think they meant Argan. Makes me wonder - Not good at billing, not good at proof-reading either? Glossybox as a company - not so great. Glossybox boxes - awesome till now.
Sample size: 0.39oz (full size)
Value: $20

Smooth shave cream from First Aid Beauty. It says it is anti-oxidant and non-irritating. It did not irritate my skin. But it also did not give much of a lather. It did leave my skin feeling incredibly soft though. So thats a definite plus! I think for its small size, it would be great to just throw it in while travelling.
Sample size: 2.0 fl oz
Full size and price: $16.80 for 6 fl oz
Sample value: $5.50

Next up is the Kinerase Restructure firming cream. The sample size is so tiny that I don't see how I will be able to sample this product's use! Also it said hypo-allergenic, non-comodogenic and all skin types but they have pasted a white sticker on top of it that says new formula or something like that. Does that mean its not hypo-allergenic anymore? Seems like the company is trying to discard its old products. Dissatisified with the product and its quantity.
Sample size : 0.24 oz
Full size and price: 1.7oz is $98
Sample value: $14??  Seriously?

Wella Professionals Enrich moisturizing statement - Its for fine hair but it still leaves my hair soft.
Sample size: 0.84 fl oz
Full size and price: $12 for 5.07 fl oz
Sample value: $2

Shea Terra Organics Ultimate Moisturizing Body Creme. Now this is my favourite product of the lot. Its an awesome vanilla flavoured body butter. I'm making it last by just using it on my hands for now. Love it.
Sample size: 1 0z
Full size and price: 9 oz is $18
Sample Value: $2

The last and least favourite one is this A organics Urban Organic perfume sample. Its a teeny tiny sample which is half the size of  my pinky finger. It smells ridiculous. Strong and more suited as massage or a bath oil. Imagine having one of those ginger flavoured aromatherapy oils as a perfume. Really bad.
Sample size: Few drops.
Full size and price: >41 oz is $65
Sample Value: $0

So overall I'm pretty pleased with the box. There is a full size mascara and  a body butter that I totally love! The other products are so-so but for the price and value, I'm pretty happy!

Are you guys hooked onto any beauty subscription services yet? Which ones do you like?
