Outfit post - Indian Light!

Hi guys! This is another one of those rare outfit posts. I have never in all this time seen someone flaunting leopard print with an Indian salwar. So allow me to showcase this ultimate indian conservative + uber sexy american trend marriage.

I wore this outfit last week to visit a temple.  This embroidered kurta was a great buy in Shilparamam which is a crafts village in Hyderabad. The leggings and dupatta are from RangMarch via LifeStyle. I love a white Kurta with a matching legging-dupatta combo. It looks clean and elegant. And you can get away with any colour. I went for this dark mustard or sandal as we say in India colour. But I have paired this with hot pink and turquoise successfully.

The shoes are from Nordstrom. They are the Payton cone wedges from Halogen. They have since sold out :( They are just so adorable and not at all trampy.

Embroidered Tunic - $29.99(similar)
Leggings - $19.99
Halogen Payton Shoes - $49.99 (similar)
InPink bracelet -  $30
I wore gold earrings and this gorgeous InPink (Thank you, Tanvi!) mixed metal bracelet. This is my third mixed metal bracelet. I think they are just so versatile. Since I always wear a gold chain (my wedding chain actually) around my neck, if I want to wear silver accessories, I add a couple of these mixed metal ones and they tie in the whole look together. You are welcome. I know a lot of you would be using this tip.

Happy June and happy weekend!

Thank you for reading!
