Bread Pudding - the simple way!

Hey all! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I managed to exhaust my this month's shopping budget over the weekend. For all the shopping I do, I think I have to start posting shopping haul videos! What do you think?
Anyway, with no shopping to be done for the rest of the weekend, I decided to use up the sunday by indulging in my other guilty pleasure - baking! So here is a super easy recipe for the super easy bread pudding I made.

Looks good?? I'd like to think so. It smelled like heaven too! Sigh.. anyway, here is the recipe.
Oh.. there is no recipe : D . Just collect some leftover bread, a bit of butter , eggs, a cup of sugar and some milk. Vanilla essence if you like its smell ( I'm sure you do, so get it!)
Now line a baking pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray. Tear up the bread into small pieces and arrange them in the cake pan. Break a couple of eggs into a dish, add a cup and a half of milk, butter, add a cup of sugar to it and whisk away. Add the vanilla extract for that extra yum! Now pour this over the bread in the cake pan and let it sit till the bread absorbs most of the liquid. Now add some more bread pieces on the top and add the reminder of the mixture to it in the same way as before. Bake it in a 350 degree oven for 30 - 35 mts. Keep an eye on it though.

If I give you one piece of advice, its don't be stingy on the foil!  Also butter's got to be mixed with warm milk so as to melt it. My butter stayed up on the top as clumps, didn't notice any difference in taste though.

This is the finished product. Slice into wedges and serve with fresh fruit and a sprinkling of sugar on top.
Do give me some feedback if you try it out. Or any suggestions to make this tastier or healthier!
