Love filled desserts!

Ok, they are actually chocolate filled but they would be absolutely perfect for Valentine's day! For all us baby step bakers, Pain au Chocolat is extremely gratifying with store-bought puff pastry! It makes you look like a very talented baker.

 If you would like to prepare a fun, choco-gooey home-made (partially) dessert, go for this easy recipe.
Five steps :
1.Roll out pastry
2.Cut into squares
3. Place a square of chocolate on the edge and roll the square.
4. Brush egg white on top for a nice golden glow!
5. Bake for 15 mts in a preheated 450F oven.

This is one of those simple recipes that don't intimidate me and make baking fun for me. It actually encourages me to try out a recipe with six steps if you know what I mean!

I also tried out some savoury ones with a potato and pea filling. Its an eternal favourite in our home with me and hubs living our whole college lives on it! So it was very nice getting back to it.
