I found this stunning vintage gown on our favourite vintage place - Decades. I put the rest of the items I had on my list on the backburner to put together a look with this dress..
This stunning burgundy beauty is designed by the little known designer Bill Tice. Designed in the 1970s, it holds the easy glamor of that age. The sexy plunging neck and the deep center split along with the bare back make it very relevant today. Add in the gold lame belt for tightening the waist., we have with us a dress which is a dream. I added in these stunning Brian Atwood "Randye" sandals which seem to be made for the dress. The sandal has a deep burgundy suede top with a gold , crystal embellished folded tier detail with an open toe. Not as heavy as a pump, not as light as a strappy sandal. The coverage of the sandal is just perfect for a long dress with a deep slit. To finish the look, I would add this beaded coil bracelet from ABS by Allen Schwartz jewellery. The tiny rectangular beads resemble the gold lame belt from the dress. The halter dress longs for some earrings, so add in a gold stud or chandelier and voila... Who is the queen now??
